Here’s what to wear…

On your travel day

You may be lucky and not have to leave the comfort of your thoroughly heated home this holiday season, but for most of us there’s some sort of traveling involved. If you have a long day behind the wheel ahead of you, there’s no better shoe choice than The McQueen Driving Shoe in Midnight Blue. Comfortable and with a bit of grip, they’re the perfect road trip companion.

Keep the casual and cool nature of the outfit with a pair of stretch chinos in khaki. The Lacoste Honeycomb sweatshirt is soft and warm while still being breathable. Plus, the muted blue of the stripes go perfectly with the shoes. Break out a classic denim jacket for an easy fit that will keep the wind at bay and deflect road glare with a classic pair of Ray Ban aviators.

On Christmas Eve

Whether you’re spending time with your family or managed to sneak away to the bar to catch up with old hometown friends, you’re not trying too hard on Christmas Eve. You want to be warm and comfortable, but you might as well look good as well. Be festive without going overboard with a pair of casual green chinos and a matching cashmere scarf.

Layer a thick cardigan over a light flannel shirt and you’ll be thoroughly insulated. Finish the outfit with The Dean Chelsea Boot in Marrone—they’re easy to slip on and completely cover the dorky Christmas socks you’re wearing underneath them.

On New Year’s Eve

Wear a suit. It looks good.

This grey one from Bonobos is the perfect shade of slate and will be useful year round. Keep it simple with a black dress shirt and add a little pizzazz with a pocket square and a spiffy pair of socks. Round out the outfit with the perfect and always-ready Cagney Cap-Toe Oxford in Nero and matching black Italian leather belt. Wear this outfit and we promise you won’t find yourself solo when the clock strikes midnight.
