Great Oxblood Oxfords

The color and patina of these shoes can't be beat. I get compliments on them every time I wear them. They work great with navy or charcoal suits for a little extra pop. Their size estimator was right the first time, don't double guess it. They take a little time to wear in, so don't be alarmed if they're not perfect on the first wear, but they're really comfortable past that. A really great addition to any wardrobe.

First time buyer

Bought a pair of these after a friend suggested them. Look great, well constructed and will definitely buy more. Actually tried these on in the store and found my perfect size. Great service too.

Cagney II Stitched Cap-Toe, Oxblood

Easily the most aesthetically beautiful pair of shoes I've purchased. These are vastly lighter on my feet than all of my AE's; supposedly based on the last. Only worn a handful of times so no expertise on long-term durability but I definitely plan on purchasing again (likely trying the sneakers which look beautiful). Also, I wear an 11 in all my AE's, went with 9.5s in these and fit well. Based on the 1.5 size down, they run TTS.

We recommend ordering a full size below your regular US dress shoe size.

icon/fitguide/01_sizing Created with Sketch. < 8 7

Like most other Italian brands (Gucci, Prada, Tod's), our shoes run a full size larger than US dress shoe brands.

Extra room in your toes is by design. Think sleek and sexy.

Resist the urge to press down on your toes to assess the fit. There's always going to be extra room because of the shape of our shoe lasts.

You have the perfect fit when:

icon/fitguide/03_fit Created with Sketch.

There is enough room across the widest part of your foot and your heel sits comfortably in the shoe. If you can confidently strut your stuff in the shoes, you're good to go.

And don't worry about minor heel slippage or extra room in the your toes!

Minor heel slippage is normal in a new pair of leather-soled shoes.

icon/fitguide/04_heel Created with Sketch.

After you break in your new shoes, the heel slippage will stop. Our Italian calfskin leather needs a chance to conform to your foot. If it doesn't, email us and we'll make it right.
